Welcome to Wolf Branch Middle School. At Wolf Branch, we want to create a climate where the school promotes the traditions and rituals that have been built over time. We will strive to demonstrate values that establish parameters, focus attention, and define success. Education is a process of life-long learning. The goal of public education is to instill in young people a sense of self-discipline with which to acquire this learning and a sense of pride in accomplishment leading to life-long learning. Wolf Branch’s excellent staff and involved parents will help us achieve our common goal of providing our students with an outstanding education that will benefit them and the world in which they live. As principal of Wolf Branch, I want to make a positive contribution to the students’ growth. We want to make our students’ world larger by embracing differences, celebrating diversity, and shaping change. The staff and I want our students to know that we care about them. The students will know that they are not just someone filling a desk or a locker, but that they are real people with actual concerns, questions, and a tremendous desire to achieve. We intend to motivate the students of Wolf Branch to do their best. Wolf Branch Middle School strives to build a community that values mutual respect, cooperation, responsible citizenship, and a foundation based on integrity. — Jeff Burkett |
