COURSES TAUGHT BY MRS. POIROT ENGLISH-In fifth grade English students will study
grammar using the Houghton Mifflin textbook ENGLISH. We will be reinforcing those skills in our
everyday writing and editing activities. SOCIAL STUDIES-
Fifth graders will be exploring the physical geography of regions such
as Latin America, the United States and Canada, and Western Europe. LANGUAGE ARTS-
Language Arts is a combination of writing, speaking, and listening
skills. Students will also be giving a
speech for the first time, and they will be given a weekly spelling test. |
